Weekly What’s On
Here at Hope Church, we have a variety of events taking place each week. Some events are weekly, though a couple are monthly, and there’s often additional things going on so do check our calendar for more details and keep an eye out for announcements on our Facebook page.
Unless otherwise stated, the below events are held at the Hope Church building on Dynevor Road. Other venues are specified below including The Gatehouse, 35 Cwmamman Road, Garnant.
Sunday
Sunday Evening Service
5pm
Hope Church, Dynevor Road
Come and join us for worship & God’s Word, plus a nice cuppa and biscuit or two afterwards.
Kid’s Church
5pm, Once a month, usually 4th Sunday
The Gatehouse, 35 Cwmamman Road
Primary school age children have their own “service” while the adults meet at the usual time and location.
Tuesday
The Prayer Room
1-3pm
Hope Church, Dynevor Road
Do you need a miracle? Someone to talk to and pray with you? Then why not pop in and see us? All are welcome and no need is too great or small.
Wednesday
Prayer Meeting
7pm
Swansea Valley Bible Church, 19 Ynyscedwyn Enterprise Park, Ystradgynlais, SA9 1DT
Our weekly prayer meeting, linking with members from all the branch churches that are part of SVBC, at the main SVBC building over in Ystradgynlais.
Note: On the first Wednesday of the month month we meet at Hope Church instead for our own local prayer meeting.
Friday
Soup and a Roll
12:30-2pm, every third Friday
The Gatehouse, 35 Cwmamman Road
Fresh, homemade soup and a nice crusty roll – for just a quid! With a healthy side of good company and conversation.
Ravens
5:30-6:45pm
Hope Church, Dynevor Road
The Hope Church Kid’s Club for those aged from 4 years old through to school year 5. Fun, games, crafts and Bible stories!
Hope Youth
7pm
Hope Church, Dynevor Road
A Youth Club for school years 7-10. With great games, tasty tuck and times of teaching, stories & sharing.
Takeaway & Testimony
7pm
The Gatehouse, 35 Cwmamman Road
A relaxed environment of fun and food plus stories of life changing encounters with God. For school year 11+.
Please note that there are frequently additional things happening, such as ‘Life Explored’ (a course in which the Christian faith is explored in the warmth & comfort of a home) and a men’s meeting for teaching and support.
